Saturday, October 13th will be DJing/Performing at Koji Lounge & Nightclub, in Hartford. First time live with Ableton and Maschine.

Update: a ton of fun – loved Ableton + Maschine combo. Making remixes, layering beats and samples on the go. The night flew by.

Did a quick tutorial showing you how to to use your iPhone as a MIDI keyboard on your MAC. Should work with any DAW that supports MIDI in.

The free iPhone app is called Pad Midi.
 
 

My remix of Steve Aoki’s “Steve Jobs” and Calvin Harris’ “Bounce”:

Decided to do some remixing on my iPhone, unplanned just doing it on the go. Everything is done live (no post production). not the best view at times, but I didn’t feel like re-recording the whole thing lol.

I downloaded this software that focuses on harmonic mixing, played around with it and made this mix. Give it a listen, let me know what you think:

Over the past several months, I have spent a lot of time on production. Specifically focusing on working with vocals. I ended up collaborating with the singer Suzanne Vick and as the result, this track ensued.

It’s a sexy, dubsteppy track which is different from what I usually play during live shows. But it’s cool nevertheless. It’s called “Your Fire”.
